NeNe Leakes let it all out during an interview with Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” where she clarified her relationship with Kim Zolciak, explain why Porsha Stewart needed to be fired, and threw shade on housewives from other cities.
It all started when NeNe deemed the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” as her own show and claimed that she is the only reason for the show’s success.
“I’m the star, I’m the boss,” NeNe told Andy with confidence. “When people think of Atlanta Housewives, they think NeNe Leakes.”
They also think about the crazy beef that used to exist between NeNe and her co-star Kim Zolciak.
While NeNe announced that they finally squashed the beef between them, she took the time to clear the air and explain that they certainly aren’t the best of friends.
“It’s so strange, because everyone is asking me ‘are you and Kim friends again?’” NeNe added. “It’s not like we’re friends. To me, it’s like Kim and I are in two good places in our lives… I feel like we agreed to let the past be the past and just move on with the future.”
She also added that she wishes Kim the best and while they won’t be “best buds” she does believe that with a lot of hard work they could be friends again in the far future.
“I wanna trust her,” NeNe explained. “It’s hard for me to trust that she would be, like, a good friend.”
Despite the muddy waters, however, Leakes still holds on to the fond memories she shared with Zolciak. When she laid eyes on some flashback pics of her and Kim back in the day she couldn’t help but laugh and criticize both Kim and herself.
“Kim and I both looked crazy,” she laughed. “We looked ridiculous and we thought we were so hot. We look so much better now!”
While she still has some level of respect and care for Kim, the same can’t be said for Sheree Whitfield.
“Out of all the girls, is the very one person I will have anything else to do with. I think Sheree is very evil, I think she is very mean and she is a true b****,” Leakes said.
She went on to explain that Sheree always wanted NeNe to be open about her business but then she would try to be secretive about her own life.
The interview revealed that Leakes really has a problem with her cast mates trying to keep things private. In fact, that’s the very same reason she felt like Porsha Stewart needed to be replaced.
“If Porsha came back a second season with Kordell, he would keep her from saying things,” Leakes explained. “He’d already stopped her from saying and doing stuff, you know what I mean. This show is about your life and what’s going on in your life. I thought that Porsha wouldn’t be right to come back with Kordell.”
Now that Stewart is on her way to being a single woman again, NeNe is more than happy to welcome her back unto the NeNe Show.
“My opinion has changed now that Kordell has filed for divorce – she should come right on back,” she said. “He didn’t want her to be ‘Porsha.’ Now she can be herself. Porsha has a big personality and a lot of life in her.”
Leakes didn’t have a problem letting every housewife have it, even if they weren’t from Atlanta.
The “The New Normal” actress even threw some shade on housewives from Beverly Hills, Orange County, and New Jersey.
When it came to Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga from New Jersey, Leakes explained that she wasn’t much of a fan of either of the women.
“It switched,” she said. “I was on Teresa’s side and then I went to Melissa’s side. And then I didn’t like either one of them at that point … it just went too far.”
Brandi Glanville from Beverly Hills, on the other hand, was just a total trainwreck according to Leakes.
“Just a trainwreck,” she said plainly. “She says a lot of stuff she does not need to say… negative stuff. She thinks she’s a gangster or something. I like her when she’s not drinking. Brandi and drinks don’t work for me.”
Leakes found it hard to even single out one housewife from Orange County because she finds all of them to be quite “boring.”
