As we all imagined, Porsha Stewarts divorce was the highlight of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special, but it certainly wasn’t the only juicy topic as Apollo accussed Kenya Moore of sending him some naughty text messages.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion was filmed just a week before Kordell surprised Porsha with a divorce filing, so it certainly made for good television when she sat down with Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” to check out the reunion special.
During the reunion, nobody could ignore the fact that Porsha’s man wasn’t by her side like all the other guys from the show. Stewart was quick to defend Kordell but after she watched the special again she claimed she was simply “a wife trying her last try.”
In fact, Porsha was still trying when she discovered via Twitter that her partner at the time had already given up on the relationship.
“I was totally blindsided,” she told Andy. “At the reunion, I did feel some kind of way beause I did want my husband with me. But I was stranding strong representing for my family. I was a wife, that was my title and that’s what I took on and had ownership of.”
Then she went into detail about just how shocking it was to read about her own divorce on Twitter when she was under the impression that her and Kordell could work things out.
“But when I found out about the divorce it was absolutely a surprise,” she added as she explained it was her sister who called her and instructed her to check Twitter. “…And then I look back at my phone and my sister was calling me over and over. She said ‘Have you heard?’ I said ‘heard what’ and let me go to Twitter.”
She then explained that the first thing that caught her eye was the words “Kordell divorcing Porsha.”
According to TheYBF, she also revealed that Kordell was just in the other room when she found out about the divorce.
The real shocker, however, is the fact that even now Kordell is just in the other room. That’s right, the reality star may be getting divorced but she hasn’t moved out yet. With no prenuptial agreement and Kordell not wanting to give her a dime it’s likely that Stewart just doesn’t have many options on where to go now.
Meanwhile, Kenya Moore had some drama of her own to handle on the show after Phaedra’s husband Apollo accused the former pageant queen of sexting him during the show.
We all knew the two were a little too flirtatious with each other.
According to the Huffington Post, however, Kenya claims Apollo was the one sending her the messages:
Kenya insisted that Apollo had been texting her all season trying to hook up with her, but Apollo turned the tables on her and said that it was Kenya who was initiating the texting.
“Since you left Anguilla, you’ve been trying to get with me,” Apollo told her. “Telling me, ‘I will do to you what your wife won’t do to you.’”
Kenya told him he was crazy, but Phaedra was backing his side of the story. “And that’s why I called her a whore,” she said. Kenya insisted they were both lying about it. She even went so far as to offer her phone up as evidence of the salacious texts, but moderator Andy Cohen said they didn’t look anything like sexts to him.
Well if they weren’t sexts then what were they? Are the cast members lying about the relationship just to put on a good show or is somebody simply lying?
