Porsha Stewart Soaks Up Post-Divorce Attention At Bravo Party

Porsha Stewart is no longer a housewife (technically speaking) but that doesn’t mean she isn’t ready to soak up all the attention she’s been getting from friends, family, and fans ever since Kordell Stewart surprised her with the divorce docs.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member made her first public appearance at the Bravo upfronts party in New York City about two weeks after her split from the former NFL star.

Kordell thought he might be able to get away with not giving Porsha a single dime after all these years, but he has another thing coming.

While the reality star has also filed her own docs explaining why he should pay her spousal support, she’s also getting some extra camera time and fame thanks to the sudden way Kordell decided to go about splitting up.

Let’s be honest, she wasn’t exactly the most talked about cast member of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but Kordell has changed all that for her.

Stewart admitted that she is going through a “very difficult time,” but other than that she has received tons of love and support (and free publicity).

“When you have strong arms and strong family around you, they cover you -– that’s what they’re there for,” she said, according to Us Weekly. “So that’s who I’m leaning on. And it’s really a blessing to see people, supporters and fans are standing up and just really showing me the love.”

We don’t expect all the soft talk about “blessings” and “love” to continue once the divorce hearings get heated, however.

Porsha is already heart broken over the fact that Kordell “blindsided” her with the divorce papers after promising he was going to stick around to work on their marriage, and now that he is trying to skip out on paying Porsha for her two years of mommy services to his son Syre the reality star admitted she’s ready to stick up for herself in court.

The sad thing is, Porsha gave Kim Kardashian a huge head start and the RHOA star is probably still going to have her divorce finalized before Kimmy.

At this rate she might even be able to remarry before Kim and Kanye even get engaged.
