Jennifer Hudson and Mariah Carey are both faces of two of America’s most popular diet programs and now the curvaceous beauties are showing off their gorgeous new bods in some fashionable figure hugging dresses.
Jennifer Hudson inspired us to sign up for Weight Watchers once again when she showed up to the first annual Amy Winehouse Foundation Inspiration Awards and Gala on Thursday at The Waldorf Astoria in New York.
The Grammy Award-winning songstress stepped out in a fitted white dress that featured a skinny belt that cinched in at her waist line and a sexy low neckline.
She is certainly making it hard for us to believe that she is the same woman who worked the American Idol stage only to be criticized every week by Simon Cowell for her weight.
She paired the white dress with a bright red lipstick and blunt bang which had her looking just as fabulous as she always does.
The look was great for Hudson since she was one of the powerhouse singers to take the stage in honor of Amy Winehouse.
She belted out “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” and “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face” flawlessly and forced everyone to their feet for quite a lengthy standing ovation.
The 31-year-old Chicago native said the event was “beautiful” as she showed much love to Winehouse saying she was “such a talent, such a gift.”
On the other side of the country, Mariah Carey was also showing off her weight loss success.
The new American Idol judge, who is also one of the newest faces of Jenny Craig, looked stunning on Wednesday night’s American Idol in a fitted black and gold floor length dress.
Her display of emotions throughout the episode was probably enough to have the mother of two drained, but that didn’t stop her from fulfilling her motherly duties.
Nick Cannon’s wife didn’t even have time to slip out of her sexy sleeveless ensemble before she jetted back home to read a bed time story to her adorable twin tykes Monroe and Moroccan.
Carey tweeted a picture of herself sitting on the floor with “dem babies” having the time of their lives in the background playing with toys and reading a colorful book.
What made the moment so special was seeing the two children see Mariah as nothing more than their beloved mother despite her glamorous get up.
The 42-year-old powerhouse singer even showed off her super mom abilities by being able to keep up with her little ones without even slipping her feet out of her sky high black heels.
The look definitely flattered Mariah’s new body which we were glad to see considering the many fashion fumbles she’s had in the past few months. She may be one of the few weight loss success stories that manage to make her body still look wide and shapeless almost every day due to her poor fashion choices.
We’re hoping this fashion success wasn’t a fluke and she can keep it up.
