Evelyn Lozada is undoubtedly the breakout star of the Basketball Wives franchise. To capitalize on said fame, Evelyn is expanding her reach to the literary world. In between filming the upcoming season of BBW, managing her Dulce shoe store and accompanying her fiance Chad Ochocinco to Boston, Evelyn will pen her first novel.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Evelyn inked a six figure deal with Cash Money Content. In case you’re wondering Cash Money Records which houses rappers such as Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake is under the same umbrella. Evelyn is in good company.
The book series is called ‘The Wives Association’. The novel is reportedly “loosely based on Lozada’s life, using the alter ego Eve Inez-Landon to fictionalize the true stories she has learned from years of dating professional athletes.” Wonder if Ev will release any juicy details….under her alias of course.
Lozada says of the deal,
“The stories that you hear–what goes on in these relationships, and just being in that circle–I decided to let everyone experience a piece of it for themselves by writing this series of juicy novels.”
She added,
“By partnering with Baby and Cash Money Content, we have the potential to turn these ‘novels’ into a full-fledged brand.Everything Baby and CMC touches turns to gold, and our brands together will be magical.”
This sounds interesting…no word on the release date of the first novel…..
