Nicole Richie, former reality TV star, former BFF of Paris Hilton has turned the big 3-0! The married, mother of two and fashion designer celebrated the milestone with hubby rocker Joel Madden at Regent Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. Other guests included Benji Madden, DJ Samantha Ronson, Ashley Olsen and Quincy Jones.
Nicole shared her jubilee on twitter when she thanked her many fans for their well wishes…
“I can’t believe the outpour of birthday love I am getting on twitter today!” Richie wrote on her Twitter account Wednesday. “From the bottom of my heart (& the top), THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

In music news Rihanna has released the first official single of her untitled sixth album, We Found Love featuring Calvin Harris. After her 45 million Facebook fans Unlocked the exclusive, the single was released this morning. The singer’s fan base runs soo deep that Rihanna New Found Love quickly became a trending topic!
Rihanna revealed she is super excited and surprisingly nervous of the new release when she tweeted
“I’m EXCITED,NERVOUS,ANXIOUS! I cud throw up,”
Her producer and featured artist on the single Calvin Harris added,
“Excited for people to hear the new @rihanna song, i can tell u she sounds like an #angel!”
The untitled album is set for a November 21st release – 2 months from now!!!
