Brad Pitt is eating his words as he struggles to correct unflattering statements made regarding his marriage to actress Jennifer Aniston.
In Sunday’s edition of Parade Magazine, Brad Pitt, who is usually private and reluctant to do interviews; attempted to open up as he candidly discussed issues relating to love, marriage, and family. However, Pitt’s comments may have gotten a bit too candid as he insinuated that he was “less” satisfied married to Jennifer Aniston as he is in his fulfilling relationship with Angelina Jolie.
“I spent the 90’s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage (to actress Jennifer Aniston) had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”
Pitt went on to paint a clearly more positive image of his relationship with Jolie by stating;
“One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.”
Now that Brad has had some time to ponder his statement; he is wisely offering clarification claiming that he was the one to blame for his lack of satisfaction, not wife Aniston.
“It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself, and that…I am responsible for.”
Not sure if that sufficiently gets Brad out the dog house with ex Aniston just yet, but it’s certainly a good start.
Scarlett Johansson leaked photos continue to dominate headlines as the FBI and her lawyer Marty Singer seek out websites carrying the nude images. Scarlett is one of many celebrities who’ve had their phone hacked but appears to be one of few who actually go to these lengths to remove them from the web. A fairly insurmountable fete. That’s not stopping her lawyer Singer who’s sent out cease and desist letters to websites. Some are complying like The Dirty while others appear to ignore the threat of a lawsuit.
Richie of TheDirty.com stated,
“In this case, Scarlett Johansson’s images were definitely an exception. I actually felt bad,” Richie said, adding, “These images were a little more personal and private. Scarlett doesn’t need to leak photos, she’s pretty established. So this wasn’t a press play. This was someone hacking into her phone, stealing her text messages and leaking them onto the Internet.”
Uh-huh…sure. A quick Google search of Scarlett Johansson leaked photos brings up quite a few pics…but one website at a time…one day they will be deleted…one day.
