Vanessa Minnillo donned a two-piece Monique Lhuillier gown for her secret wedding to Nick Lachey. The pair confirmed the news to People about their secret island chic wedding on Friday night (7.15.11).
Vanessa’s Lhuillier gown, according to People, featured an “intricately embellished lace corset with rose and crystal detail, paired with a signature hand tufted skirt made of silk faille,” accessorized with a bow belt at her waist and chapel length tulle veil”
Nick Lachey opted for a Dolce & Gabanna suit.
After five years of dating the couple finally decided to tie the knot after Nick proposed in November 2010. And Vanessa and Nick plans to squeeze it all in a special for TLC called Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding premiering on July 30 from 9-11pm ET/PT.
What’s next for the newly weds? Starting a family, Vanessa Minnillo stated that the wedding is “stepping stone” for “what we ultimately want — and that’s to start a family together.” Looking forward to seeing the pictures!!
