Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are being praised as heroes by a children’s hospital in Chicago after the famous duo encouraged all their friends and family to send donations to the hospital instead of buying them baby gifts.
Kim K was barely showing when rumors were flying that the reality star would do her best to try to cash out on her bun in the oven, but recent reports are suggesting that just isn’t true.
The famous Kardashian has given up yet another source of free goodies or financial gain via being pregnant and this time it’s all in the name of helping other babies.
The soon-to-be parents are asking everyone to send their baby gift money over to the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Kanye’s hometown of Chicago.
Apparently, their wealthy pals are listening and forking over the cash for the good cause.
“Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital,” reps for the hospital said in a public statement.
According to the rep all the money has been directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund “which will help care for the most critically ill babies and their families.”
The hospital also took the time to wish Kimye “all the best in the upcoming arrival of their baby.”
According to some tabloids, the luck is much needed after Kimmy K and Yeezy were finally reunited in Paris.
Snaps of the couple hit the web today (April 30) and have the public wondering why neither of the love birds looks too happy to see one another.
Sources revealed that the “Mercy” rapper had a private jet scoop up his baby mamma from her tropical vacation with her family in the Greek islands in order to be by his side once again.
The fashion lovers went about their usual routine of shopping in designer boutiques while in the City of Lights, but this time they were caught laughing and smiling the way they usually are despite the fact that Kim K just opened up about being ready to marry the Chicago rapper.
While there are rumors floating around that Kanye and Kim are already on the road to splitsville, it’s possible that they simply didn’t have too many happy things to discuss once they were reunited.
During their time apart Ray J has released his tacky music video for “I Hit It First” and Kanye has been busy working non-stop on some upcoming fashion endeavors.
We can’t really expect the pair to always look happy and carefree when no relationship works that way.
The good news is, Kimmy is certainly getting a hang of the pregnancy fashion.
The reality star slipped into a fitted bright red maxi dress with a black cardigan that did justice to her shape and her baby bump.
She opted for a natural makeup pallet and some comfortable flat sandals – suggesting that she’s finally giving up on trying to rock heels throughout her entire pregnancy.
Her baby daddy was dressed in his usual all black attire with some white sneakers as he strolled on alongside his pregnant girlfriend.
Ironically, after all the skepticism that surrounded the couple when they first got together it seems like many people are actually rooting for them to work through whatever problems they could possibly be facing.
Either way, some alone time is exactly what the love doctor ordered and that’s what Kimye is having during their stay in Paris.
One can only hope that the next time they emerge in front of the flashing camera lights, they’ll be hand-in-hand once again and laughing it up like they always do.
