Rick Ross Makes Second Apology, Beyonce Hits Cuba With Grandpa Jay-Z

Rick Ross is offering yet another apology for his rape condoning lyrics in Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O,” but still refuses to give a simple explanation of what the lyric actually meant.

Rick Ross could have easily put an end to everyone slamming him for the rape lyric if he would have just explained that the line really meant. The only problem seems to be that it’s kind of hard to twist those lyrics into something positive.

So for now, he’s settling for trying to convince us that since he didn’t say the word “rape” he certainly wasn’t condoning it and he hopes this mess won’t keep Reebok from signing a fat check.

“I don’t condone rape. Apologies for the lyric interpreted as rape,” Ross tweeted.

This apology was pretty much just as sorry for the first apology he made last week.

The Rolling Stone writes:

Last week, the rapper appeared on New Orleans radio station Q93 in an attempt to clear up the rhyme, “Put molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it.” During the interview Ross said, “It was misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term ‘rape’ wasn’t used. And I would never use the term ‘rape’ in my records.”Still, the criticism of Ross has continued to mount, with many underwhelmed by his apology. Rapper Talib Kweli called Ross “a misguided 40-year person” during a segment on HuffPo Live, adding: “Rick Ross condoned rape in that song and he shouldn’t, and he should apologize, and the apology that he offered was unacceptable.”

The controversy is causing many women’s rights groups to push for Reebok to cut their ties with the rapper as a petition to end Ross’s endorsement deal for the brand has already earned 71,000 signatures.

Beyonce and Jay-Z Celebrate 5th Anniversary in Cuba with Safari Chic Style

Beyonce and Jay-Z picked quite the exotic location for their 5th anniversary and made sure they had a safari style to match their destination.

Baddie Bey sported a mustard yellow ensemble with abstract zebra print and some bold gold earrings. Blue Ivy’s mommy put her hair in thick braids and tied them up in a huge up do while she sported some cheetah print sunglasses.

Jay-Z on the other hand was looking like a rather dapper and cool grandfather during the trip.

No he’s not actually a grandfather, but his vacation look could have fooled us.

He rocked a small fedora, a teal polo shirt, with some gray shorts that were just an inch or two shorter than we would have preferred.

Now don’t get us wrong. On paper the outfit seems like it wouldn’t be a big deal, but something just isn’t quite right.

It could just be the length of the shorts. It might even be the sneakers that don’t really go with the rest of the look. Maybe it’s just the fact that it looks like the New York rapper put on a few pounds.

Whatever it is, we aren’t sure but we’re definitely feeling a grandpa HOV vide from the vacation photos.

Either way the mega star couple appeared to be having the time of their lives as they strolled through Cuba’s capital city Havana where the locals were more than excited to snap a few photos.
