Basketball Wives reunion part 2 showed Royce Reed holding on to her relationship with football player Dezmon Briscoe despite their public cheating scandal. Host John Salley asked plainly if the duo were still together.
“I decided to stay with Dezmon for all the things he did right, not the one thing he did wrong. Yes, it was wrong. Yes, I was hurt. Yes, I was humiliated, but I’m not gonna sit here and base my relationship off of what the world says I should do.”
No more than two days after the Basketball Wives reunion aired Royce was singing a different note on Twitter,
“I wish @Dezbriscoe89 the best but after much thought I found it 2 be n my best interest 2 walk away & focus on my career & my munchkin. Many minds have inquired about whether I’m still with Dezmon Briscoe. Let it be clear that we are not together. I’m happy and super focused!”
Perhaps Royce consciously chose for the reunion to air to tell her fans. Either way, we’re happy she made the decision. Another talking point of the reunion was Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams hugging it out.
