Dancing with the Stars dancer Karina Smirnoff sets her wedding date with fiance, Detroit Tigers baseball star, Brad Penny. Karina is planning for a lavish winter destination wedding on January 21, 2012. Reportedly, Karina and Brad’s wedding will take place in Cozumel, Mexico. But the wedding date is only second to Karina’s plans for her wedding gown! Karina reportedly stated she wants her wedding train to be “as long as Hollywood Boulevard.”
Karina tells People magazine,
“We’re down to six, which is better than 20. You always have to look at the glass half full.”
“I’m very open to the colors, the setting, the flowers. I’m very easy. The only thing I do want is that big dress with the train. Even if it’s just me walking in a dress, I’m all good.”
Every celebrity wedding after the Royal Wedding is attempting to be as big as possible. Can’t say we’re not looking forward to seeing Karina Smirnoff work her wedding dress like she does her Dancing with the Stars outfits!
